In Tim’s early years he enjoyed school, was in cubs, attended church and was involved in the community. His real passion was playing sports – soccer and hockey – particularly being goalie. Tim felt it was important to play as a team player and when he won the awards for his talents including sportsmanship, he was very aware that he was but one member of the team. He shared his family with many foster children, including several with medical or physical disabilities. He worked for the City of London, Ontario. in day camp programs during the summer and parents and his supervisors noted his special gifts for assisting people with special needs to do their best and reach their potential while at camp. In the winters, Tim worked in London arenas. People describe Tim as being conscientious, diligent and caring to the people he worked with, but especially to the younger players.
